LTCM Awards: Best Leading Ladies of 2015!




Best Leading Ladies of 2015 - Here at "Love Those Classic Movies!" we will celebrate the current classics being leading men, women, directors, films and more. This is the 2nd Annual LTCM Awards for current classics.

The first category as one can deduce is the; "Best Leading Men" where the Top Eight will be celebrated. Here is my awards that I truly thought were outstanding roles played by outstanding leading men. My top 10 are in random order (from top left to right in photo): Blythe Danner, Cate Blanchett, Carey Mulligan, Deepika Padukone, Inma Cuesta, Charlotte Rampling, Kitana Kiki Rodriguez, Brie Larson, Saoirse Ronan, & Laia Costa.

 The Outstanding Role/Motion Picture:


  1. Blythe Danner -  Motion Picture: "I'll See You In My Dreams" 
  2. Cate Blanchett -  Motion Pictures: "Carol" & "Truth"
  3. Carey Mulligan  - Motion Pictures: "Far From The Madding Crowd"  & "Suffragette"
  4. Deepika Padukone - Motion Pictures: "Piku"  "Tamasha" & "Bajirao Mastani"
  5. Inma Cuesta - Motion Pictures: "The Bride"  "Wednesday's Don't Exist"
  6. Charlotte Rampling - Motion Picture: "45 Years" 
  7. Kitana Kiki Rodriguez - Motion Picture: "Tangerine" 
  8. Brie Larson -  Motion Picture: "Room"
  9. Saoirse Ronan - Motion Picture: "Brooklyn"

I truly loved all of these actors in these roles and specifically in these respective films. There are as in all year's runner's-up that are worthy of mention such as: Helen Mirren, Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Schumer, Emily Blunt, Bel Powley, Sarah Silverman and others.

Antonio Rullez - The Australian native is a very accomplished actor/singer.     "Hello, I am Antonio Rullez of Melbourne, Australia.  I am thrilled that I will now be writing my own column as part of the “Love Those Classic Movies!” site.  As a composer and entertainer, in particular, singer, actor, recording artist and dancer, my experiences vary from writing and recording music for countless days and hours in the studio, to singing at festivals, clubs and corporate functions, directing and performing in theatre productions, as well as acting in short films.  I very much look forward to sharing with you some of my experiences in the entertainment industry, as well as a selection of my original poetry."
