Welcome to "Love Those Classic Movies!!!"
Third Annual Classic Mr. & Mrs. Clause.

This year to kick it off we have two extremely gifted and top classic Christmas pair:

  Fred MacMurray & Barbara Stanwyck!!

These personalities will keep a room filled all night and entertained!!!
Fred MacMurray & Barbara Stanwyck have both been good sports and have dressed up in various Christmas outfits and posed for us during their busy schedules, so thank you!!! After a lot of assistants to help with getting the right outfits and the rest of the glamor squad to do hair the photo shoots were just swell!

In Pictures: Anne Shirley

Here is our 45th installment of this very successful feature to "Love Those Classic Movies!!!" This article is simply an enjoyment via beautiful pictures of our favorite golden age classic stars. Not a lot of writing at all or tid bits or extras just simply as it is stated, "in pictures!" Hope you enjoy the talented and very beautiful actress Anne Shirley; In Pictures!

This is one actress that is too often overlooked but is a true classic star and one of my favorites from the 1930's who retired at the young age of 26!

http://ardfilmjournal.wordpress.com/2008/08/18/lighting-form-in-classical-hollywood-cinema/

Taglines:  "Paramount's terrific story of an unholy love, and an almost perfect crime!"

Quotes:

~ "Now look, Walter. A guy takes out an accident policy that's worth $100,000 if he's killed on the train. Then, two weeks later, he *is* killed on the train. And, not from the train accident, mind you, but falling off some silly observation car. You know what the mathematical probability of that is? One out of, oh, I don't know how many billions. And after that, the broken leg. No, it just, it just can't be the way it looks. Something has been worked on us!"
~ "We're both rotten."

Plot:

Walter Neff (MacMurray) meets the seductive wife of one of his client's, Phyllis Dietrichson (Stanwyck), and they have an affair. Phyllis proposes to kill her husband Dietrichson to receive the prize of an accident insurance policy. Walter plots a scheme to receive twice the amount based on a double indemnity clause.  There are many twists and turns that occur that make you wonder if Phyllis has had it out for Walter and the love for him is real..what a film noir a must see!!!!
