In Memoruim: Mary Tyler Moore (1936 - 2017)

"Love Those Classic Movies" is sad to say that we have lost another legendary leading lady; Mary Tyler Moore. Mary was 80 years young on January 25th, 2017 in Connecticut.

Mary Tyler Moore is loved by all from numerous projects she did from the large to small screen. Noteworthy, roles are from the 1960s sitcom; The Dick Van Dyke Show and then being a working single woman in a male dominated industry of television news in her self titled ground breaking show; The Mary Tyler Moor Show.

We can not forget that there were many other outstanding roles Mary Tyler Moore films and TV roles such as; Thoroughly Modern Millie, Don't Just Stand There, Change of Habit, Ordinary People, Six Weeks, Just Between Friends, Lincoln (TV), Flirting With Disaster and many more. 

 One thing is for sure that through her decades of work Mary Tyler Moore will always leave us with a smile.

In Memorium: Debbie Reynolds & Carrie Fisher

Debbie Reynolds & Carrie Fisher - two Hollywood mother/daughter legends have passed away. I am very tearful that both lovely ladies died only one day apart of one another. Carrie Fisher passing on December 27th at the age of 60 years young and her mother Debbie Reynolds passing today on December 28th at the age of 84.

Carrie Fisher, the daughter of two icons of Hollywood being Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher. Carrie passed after having been on a tour supporting her 8th book release entitled; The Princess Diarist. Only minutes from landing on her international flight from the UK to California, Carrie suffered a heart attack. This was devastating to her brother and most of all her mother Debbie Reynolds. Debbie released a lovely message via twitter prior to her passing thanking everyone for their support. Earlier in the day of December 28th, Debbie Reynolds suffered from what is being stated at this moment of a stroke. This occurred whilst planning her daughter's funeral which simply was too much.

Both ladies were bold, brash, vivacious, class acts, one of a kinds, truly with their presence made a film a success. Please take a moment to leave your thoughts and memories via this article as a comment and I will respond. My thoughts are with these inspiring ladies family.
